Terms and Conditions

Terms governing the use of THETVC.COM by buyers, vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, and other marketplace participants.

1. Marketplace Nature and Intermediary Role

THETVC.COM (“The TVC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates as a B2B marketplace connecting buyers, vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, and other participants in the textile industry.

The platform facilitates product discovery, business inquiries, and communication between buyers and vendors. Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, The TVC does not act as a party to commercial transactions between buyers and vendors and does not process or collect payments on their behalf.

The TVC charges fees for applicable listing, subscription, and inquiry-based plans. We do not charge commissions on commercial transactions between buyers and vendors unless expressly agreed in writing.

Buyers and vendors are responsible for negotiating and completing their commercial transactions directly with each other.

2. Due Diligence and Verification

Buyers and vendors are responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence before entering into any commercial transaction.

This includes verifying the identity, credentials, business registration, product specifications, sample quality, pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, certifications, and other relevant details of the other party.

Any verification performed by The TVC is limited to the checks expressly undertaken by the platform. Verification does not guarantee the authenticity, reliability, financial standing, product quality, or performance of any buyer or vendor.

Commercial agreements, purchase orders, delivery arrangements, and other transaction-related commitments are the responsibility of the relevant trading parties.

3. Buyer and Vendor Accounts

Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and keep their account information updated.

Users who wish to operate as both buyers and vendors must register using separate, unique email addresses where required by the platform. Separate accounts may have distinct login credentials, authentication tokens, permissions, and dashboards.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activities conducted through their accounts. Suspected unauthorised access must be reported promptly to The TVC support team.

Users must not impersonate another person or business, provide misleading registration information, or create accounts for fraudulent purposes.

4. Subscription Plans, Duration, and Renewals

Vendors may upload product lots, listings, or other marketplace content according to the limits and features of their purchased subscription plans.

Unless a specific plan expressly states otherwise, subscription validity is 365 days from the date of activation.

The applicable plan determines the permitted listing quantity, features, visibility benefits, and other entitlements. Users should review the plan description before purchasing.

Subscription activation and access are subject to successful payment and any applicable verification requirements.

Renewal terms, pricing, and any automatic-renewal arrangements, where offered, will be disclosed at the time of purchase or renewal. Users are responsible for renewing subscriptions if they wish to continue using paid features after expiry.

Subscriptions are generally non-refundable once activated, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly approved under The TVC's applicable refund policy or a written agreement.

The TVC may modify subscription offerings and pricing prospectively, subject to applicable law and any existing contractual commitments.

5. Subscription Payments, Taxes, and Billing

Users must pay the applicable subscription or listing fees displayed at the time of purchase.

Any applicable taxes, transaction charges, or additional fees will be disclosed where required. Users are responsible for providing accurate billing information and completing payments through the payment methods made available by The TVC.

Access to paid features may be delayed, restricted, or suspended if payment fails, is reversed, or remains outstanding, subject to applicable law and the relevant subscription terms.

Fees paid to The TVC relate to platform services and are separate from payments made directly between buyers and vendors for goods, shipping, or other commercial arrangements.

6. Content Ownership, Accuracy, and Intellectual Property

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all product listings, photographs, descriptions, specifications, trademarks, logos, and other uploaded materials are accurate and that they own or have permission to use and publish such content.

Users must not upload content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal rights, or that is unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive.

By uploading content, users grant The TVC a non-exclusive permission to host, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and provide the marketplace services, subject to applicable law and the user's rights.

Users retain ownership of their content, subject to the rights granted under these Terms.

The TVC may remove, restrict, or disable access to content that appears to violate these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights.

Users may report suspected infringement or unauthorised use by contacting support@thetvc.com with relevant details and supporting evidence.

7. Listing Visibility and Neutral Platform Policy

The TVC aims to provide a fair marketplace experience for buyers and vendors.

Listings may be displayed or ordered according to factors such as product category, search relevance, listing completeness, user-selected filters, subscription plan benefits, and other operational criteria.

Where paid plans influence listing visibility or promotional placement, The TVC may identify those benefits in the applicable plan descriptions.

The TVC does not guarantee a particular ranking, number of inquiries, sales volume, conversion rate, or commercial outcome from any listing or subscription.

The TVC may modify search, categorisation, and display mechanisms to improve the platform, subject to applicable law and contractual commitments.

8. User Conduct, Prohibited Activities, and Account Safety

Users must use the platform lawfully and respectfully. The following activities are prohibited:

• Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent business information.
• Posting counterfeit, unauthorised, deceptive, or infringing product listings.
• Misusing contact details or confidential business information obtained through the platform.
• Sending spam, abusive messages, unsolicited communications, or misleading inquiries.
• Attempting to access another user's account or interfere with platform security.
• Uploading malicious software or engaging in unauthorised data collection.
• Circumventing subscription limits or using the platform for unlawful activities.

The TVC may investigate reported violations and take proportionate action, including content removal, restriction of features, suspension, or account termination.

Where appropriate, users may be given notice of the action and an opportunity to respond or appeal. Immediate temporary restrictions may be applied when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected fraud, preserve security, or comply with legal requirements.

Refund eligibility following suspension or termination will be assessed under the applicable subscription terms, refund policy, and relevant law. No refund will be denied where applicable law requires otherwise.

9. App Permissions, Privacy, and Account Deletion

The TVC mobile application may request Camera and Photos or file access to enable users to capture or upload product images and swatch photographs. Push Notifications may be used for relevant inquiry, chat, and account alerts.

Users can manage available permissions through their device settings. Disabling a permission may limit the corresponding feature.

The collection, use, sharing, retention, and protection of personal information are explained in our Privacy Policy.

Where account deletion is available in the mobile application, users may initiate deletion through:

Users may also request account deletion by emailing support@thetvc.com. Requests will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy, applicable legal obligations, and relevant retention requirements.

10. Commercial Transactions and Buyer-Vendor Disputes

Buyers and vendors are solely responsible for their commercial dealings, including negotiations, quotations, purchase orders, product quality, samples, pricing, taxes, shipping, delivery, returns, warranties, payment arrangements, and contractual commitments.

The TVC does not guarantee that a buyer will purchase a product or that a vendor will fulfil an order.

Any dispute concerning a transaction between a buyer and vendor should ordinarily be resolved directly between the parties under their applicable agreement and the law.

The TVC may, at its discretion, assist with communication or provide relevant platform records where appropriate and legally permitted. Such assistance does not make The TVC a party to the transaction or require it to resolve every commercial dispute.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any responsibility that The TVC cannot lawfully exclude.

11. Platform Availability and Technical Issues

The TVC aims to maintain reliable platform access but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Access may occasionally be affected by maintenance, updates, network failures, security incidents, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue platform features where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, operational improvements, or legal compliance. Where practicable, we will endeavour to provide advance notice of significant planned interruptions or changes affecting paid services, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The TVC is not responsible for the independent conduct of buyers or vendors, the accuracy of user-submitted listings, the quality or authenticity of products, delivery failures, or disputes arising directly from transactions between users.

The TVC does not guarantee sales, business leads, customer responses, profits, or any particular commercial result.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any permitted limitation of liability will be interpreted subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement.

13. Changes to These Terms

The TVC may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the platform, subscription plans, business operations, or applicable legal requirements.

The updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Where required by law, users will be notified of material changes and asked to provide consent where applicable. Continued use of the platform after revised Terms become effective will be subject to applicable law and any consent requirements.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable law and the governing-law provisions agreed with the user.

The TVC's operating entity is GTVC SOURCING HUB SERVICES FZCO, with a business address in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company should confirm the appropriate governing law and exclusive jurisdiction clause for its legal structure, business operations, and customer contracts before publication.

Any dispute will be submitted to the courts or dispute-resolution forum having jurisdiction under the valid governing-law and jurisdiction provisions applicable to the relevant agreement. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory rights or protections that applicable law grants to a user.
